A couple months ago, you may recall us telling you about our favorite automaker's campaign to save America's drive-in movie theaters. It was a bittersweet moment if there ever was one, but, more importantly, it was a point of pride for all of us here at Bend Honda. And now that their efforts are starting to pay off, we've never been more excited to go to the movies.
The last time we had some news for you regarding the 2013 Honda Fit, we had the pleasure of announcing the blue light special that was going on for its EV counterpart. It was just one of the many reasons we're so fond of our subcompact here at Bend Honda, and if you asked us, we'd say it's one of the best little cars on the market.
We don't know about you, but we here at Bend Honda really miss The Office. We'll admit, the quality did dip somewhat in those last few seasons, but after nine years of tuning in to our friends at Dunder-Mifflin, our Thursday nights just haven't been the same. Nevertheless, we wish that cast the best and we can't help but feel happy for them whenever they get new work. And thanks to our favorite automaker, Rainn Wilson isn't out of a job.
Few things in this world are more seminally American than that of the drive-in movie theater. It's one of our favorite summer activities here at Bend Honda and there's truly no better way to go see a movie. Unfortunately, our drive-ins across the country are in danger of going extinct. But if Honda has anything to say about it, these institutions are here to stay.
If the recent Blue Light Special on the 2013 Honda Fit EV was any indication, our favorite automaker has been going above and beyond to make our fuel-efficient new and used cars more attainable than ever before. And why shouldn't they be? After all, with fossil fuels slowly but surely going the way of the dinosaur, hybrids and EVs are the inevitable way of the future here at Bend Honda.
We don't know about you, but summer's been awfully kind to all of us here at Bend Honda so far. From the promise of the HondaJet to punching the clock and hitting the beach in one of our new and used cars, we certainly earned it after the winter we just had. And now that the 2013 Honda Civic Tour will soon be upon us, the good times just keep on rolling.
Given the recent green news regarding the Honda Smart Home, we don't think it's a stretch to say that our favorite automaker's been aiming pretty high as of late. If it were anyone other than Honda, there might be cause for concern, but if our award-winning new and used cars here at Bend Honda are any indication, there's certainly no cause for concern. Because when Honda aims of the sky, it's the sky they're going to reach.
Aside from the satisfaction that comes with reducing your carbon footprint and helping planet Earth, the biggest perk to going green with your next new or used car is the money you'll be saving as a result. That's exactly what our favorite automaker was thinking when they recently cooked up their Honda Smart Home, and ever since then, they've been making it easy as humanly possible for drivers to switch over from fossil fuels.
As you've already likely gathered, we here at Bend Honda have nothing but good things to say about the new and used cars at our dealership. Given the nature of our favorite automaker, it only makes sense. Because if there's one thing that Honda does better than cars, it's doing the right thing for those who need it most.
If there's one thing we've been learning about our favorite automaker as of late here at Bend Honda, it's that they sure take pleasure in making our lives easier. Whether it's saving us money at the pump in our 2013 Honda Fit EV models or letting our cars do the driving for us, the good news just never seems to end. Well now that they've established their commitment to improving the way we drive, they're turning their focus to improving the places we reside.
