Last month, while most of us were making plans to hold or attend backyard barbecues, thousands of Team Honda employees were making a difference in communities all over the country. In fact, approximately 16,000 volunteers across the country donated blood, collected trash, donated or organized food at food pantries, helped or adopted animals, painted or re-furbished homes and donated money.

While donating money is an important and often relied on way of giving, sometimes it feels good to roll up one’s sleeves and get right into the work of a nonprofit.

Few things in this world are more seminally American than that of the drive-in movie theater. It's one of our favorite summer activities here at Bend Honda and there's truly no better way to go see a movie. Unfortunately, our drive-ins across the country are in danger of going extinct. But if Honda has anything to say about it, these institutions are here to stay.

Remember last month when the 2013 Honda Odyssey was named a "Top Pick" by the folks over at Kelly Blue Blook? Needless to say, it was quite the cause for celebration over here at Bend Honda, and we just couldn't be any prouder of our minivan that could. Then again, that's the thing about our favorite automaker: they keep finding ways to keep that pride growing.
