The last time we had some news for you regarding the 2013 Honda Fit, we had the pleasure of announcing the blue light special that was going on for its EV counterpart. It was just one of the many reasons we're so fond of our subcompact here at Bend Honda, and if you asked us, we'd say it's one of the best little cars on the market.
While we're admittedly biased when it comes to these matters, it's always nice to have an expert opinion backing you up.
Just this week, the professional gearheads over at Edmunds.com unveiled their list of the Best Used Cars for 2013. Being that it's a used cars list and all, every vehicle they awarded top honors to across 19 different segments was sold between 2006 and 2011. In order to determine which ones were the best of the best, they evaluated each one according to their value, reliability, safety standards and availability.
With so many used cars on the market across a seven-year timespan, it goes without saying that the competition was stiff. But when the dust finally settled and the Honda Fit was named the Best Used Subcompact, the love just continued to grow. And if you're wondering how it earned a win such as this, we'll let the judges take it away.
"The second-generation Honda Fit . . . brought a telescoping steering wheel, more passenger and cargo space, a little more power . . . and the availability of a navigation system," say the staff at Edmunds.com. "The Honda Fit has won over editors and consumers with its spirited and nimble driving demeanor, high fuel economy and incredibly space-efficient design."1
So if you'd like to experience all these award-winning qualities for yourself, then feel free to take this beauty for a spin at our dealership here in Bend, OR. The good news just keeps on coming with this one.
