We don't know about you, but we here at Bend Honda really miss The Office. We'll admit, the quality did dip somewhat in those last few seasons, but after nine years of tuning in to our friends at Dunder-Mifflin, our Thursday nights just haven't been the same. Nevertheless, we wish that cast the best and we can't help but feel happy for them whenever they get new work. And thanks to our favorite automaker, Rainn Wilson isn't out of a job.
As we mentioned back in April, the 2014 Honda Odyssey comes with its very own built-in vacuum. Needless to say, our minivans will never be the same again. So in an effort to give this handy-dandy feature its due, a new ad campaign was launched.
Titled "Owner's Manual," the 30-second TV commercial stars Rainn Wilson as the voice of all the things that keep collecting under your seats. You've got a broken crayon, a half-licked lollipop, an animal cracker and a gummy bear, all of whom are flipping through the owner's manual in the backseat.
Together they admire all of the Odyssey's features like forward collision warning, Pandora compatibility and lane departure warning. As you can imagine, they're awfully impressed, that is until the crayon draws a circle around the HondaVAC right before the Odyssey's owner vacuums them all up.
