As you've already likely gathered, we here at Bend Honda have nothing but good things to say about the new and used cars at our dealership. Given the nature of our favorite automaker, it only makes sense. Because if there's one thing that Honda does better than cars, it's doing the right thing for those who need it most.

Just recently, a series of tornadoes touched down in the Midwestern United States and utterly ravaged everything in their paths. Towns were leveled, lives were lost and the homes of the survivors were left in shards. It was a tragedy of the highest order and the brass at Honda took it as an opportunity to lend a hand.

"Honda wants to support the many individuals and families devastated by the recent tornadoes in the Midwest," says Tetsuo Iwamura, president and chief executive officer of American Honda Motor Co., Inc. "As we have responded to past natural disasters, supporting the Red Cross and other local relief agencies is an effective way to quickly help those affected by the storms."1

Shortly after learning of the devastation, Honda donated $100,000 to the American Red Cross - Disaster Relief Fund along with portable generators to local relief agencies to assist in the recovery effort. Not only that, but Honda is also waiving the late fees and extending the loan payments of those Honda owners whose lives were directly affected by the natural disasters. Needless to say, there's much to be proud of.

So if you'd like to learn more about Honda's philanthropic efforts, feel free to visit us here in Bend, OR. We'd be happy to fill you in.
