It isn't every day that we here at Bend Honda are asked what it is that we love most about the new and used cars at our dealership, and it's probably for the best considering how long the list is. If we had to pick one thing, it would be that no matter what kind of vehicle a customer is looking for, there's something for everyone when you're working with Honda. And not for nothing, but all these awards aren't hurting any either.

Take for instance our 2013 Honda Civic models. These beauties have been winning awards for our favorite automaker for as long as we can remember, and it's no surprise to any of us that it's become one of the more popular selections in our lineup. It looks as good as it performs, it's the perfect marriage of quality and affordability, and it's one of the safest cars on the road to boot.

Not only that, but it's got the stats to match.

Now, whenever an automaker releases a new model, it's only a matter of time before that model makes its way to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). For those unfamiliar, the IIHS a non-profit organization that has evolved into the final word on vehicle safety thanks to the extensive testing they put cars through and the increasingly high standards they hold them to. Each vehicle that comes its way is put through five different safety evaluations, ranging from various impact tests to the new small overlap front crash test.

Vehicles that perform well enough are given Top Safety Pick awards by the IIHS, but only an elite few perform so well that they earn Top Safety Pick+ awards - the highest awarded a vehicle can earn. So when the 2013 Honda Civic coupe and sedan models made their way to the gauntlet, we were just brimming with pride when they recently drove away with Top Safety Pick+ awards in tow.

With that being said, feel free to swing by our parts department down here at 2225 NE Hwy 20 (DA3025) in Bend, OR 97701 to learn more about all the industry-leading safety features of our Honda Civic models. Because no matter what you're searching for, safety always comes first.
