From the number of shoppers we've had by to take a gander at the 2016 Honda Civic, it's pretty clear that our preferred automaker has a winner on their hands. Now in its tenth generation, it builds on qualities that have existed since the first iteration in 1973, and before. Today, we're going to talk about that particular model, which is called the N600.

The N600 is special because not only because it's the Civic's proverbial forefather, but also because it's the first model that Honda ever sold in the United States. Developed from the Japanese-market N360, it boasted a larger 600cc two-cylinder with a 77 mph top speed for American highways. Lauded for its gas mileage and easy power delivery, it was succeeded by the Civic four years after its introduction.

To see how far the Civic has come from its days of two-door exclusivity, stop by our Honda dealership in Bend, OR to sign up for a test drive. You can also browse our entire inventory online to learn more.
