Car Batteries Often Die in the Winter

A death of the car battery is very common. One of the most common times for a battery to die is in the winter. There are a ton of reasons that a battery is going to die in the winter. There are certain factors that can drain the life out of a battery during the winter.

One factor of the vehicle battery is that it can take a lot more effort on the part of the vehicle to start up in the winter than in warmer times. Among the things that the vehicle is going to experience is some extra draw from accessories and starter motors when it is activated.

Another factor to consider for a dying battery is just the age of the battery. After a while, a battery will age and its capacity will be reduced which makes it more likely to die in extreme temperatures.
