The Honda Odyssey is unequivocally family-friendly. Offering an interior that can carry seven passengers comfortably and an assortment of standard safety features, the minivan is a popular household option. Though, it's not usually associated with a high-performance engine. That is, until now.
Please allow us at Bend Honda to elaborate. You see, among the bolstered models at this year's 2013 SEMA Show, there was an Odyssey tuned by the gurus at Bisimoto present. For those of you unfamiliar, the aforementioned are some real gear-heads and they helped tune the Big H's minivan into a beast.
Specifically, our choice Japanese automaker and the good folks at Bisimoto joined forces to enhance the Odyssey through available Honda parts and accessories. Namely, the SEMA minivan was equipped with twin turbochargers, custom pistons, a blowoff valve, a new exhaust, and other updates made to the model's chassis, suspension and underpinnings.
The result: a Honda Odyssey capable of a mind-numbing 1,029 horsepower. As far as torque is concerned, that estimate has not been listed. However, our humble opinion is that it's equally enthralling.
Actually, enthralling is also an adjective that can be used to describe the street-legal Honda Odyssey, you guys.
With that said, if you'd like to learn more about the classic Odyssey and discuss feasible car loans, then we welcome you to visit our Bend, OR showroom. During your stopover our Honda experts are available to detail the model's specs and answer questions while arranging test drives that your entire family can enjoy.
